An adult summer top usually needs 2–3 balls. Each ball holds 350 m, and a sport-weight top typically uses 700–1,000 m, so 1,000 ÷ 350 rounds up to 3. Smaller pieces such as a brimmed sun hat often fit in one ball. Buy enough for the whole project at once, from the same dye lot.

How do I wash Alize Diva Batik?

Hand wash in lukewarm water up to 30 °C, press out the water in a towel and dry flat. Avoid hot irons and steam: strong heat can permanently relax acrylic, flattening the stitches and making the fabric limp, which knitters call killing acrylic. Drying away from strong sun also helps keep the colors bright.
