Description
YarnArt Angora Star – Airy Warmth with a Gentle Halo
YarnArt Angora Star allows you to create sophisticated, lightweight garments that offer surprising warmth. This yarn is designed to mimic the fluffy "halo" effect of traditional mohair but is crafted from a durable wool and acrylic blend. It is the go-to choice for knitting airy shawls, delicate stoles, and feminine cardigans that drape beautifully without feeling heavy on the shoulders.
💡 Mix & Match: Want the same fluffy texture but with exciting color transitions? Check out the variegated version, Alize Angora Gold Batik, which shares a similar weight and feel.
Why choose this fluffy wool blend?
- Impressive Yardage: This is an incredibly economical choice—a single 100g ball contains 500 meters (547 yds). You typically need just one or two balls to create a generously sized shawl.
- Versatile Styling: While excellent for lace knitting on larger needles to create openwork, it can also be held double or combined with a smooth yarn to add a fuzzy, warm texture to winter sweaters.
- Soft & Durable: The high acrylic content ensures the garment holds its shape and resists wear, while the wool provides natural warmth and that signature fuzzy look.
