YarnArt Dolce – Velvety Chenille for Plush Projects
YarnArt Dolce is a favorite among crafters who love texture. This super bulky chenille yarn offers a rich, velvety finish that feels luxurious to the touch. It is widely regarded as the top choice for creating professional-looking Amigurumi plush toys because of its density and ability to hold shape, as well as for crafting super-soft throw blankets and decorative pillows that add a cozy vibe to any living room.
💡 Tip: Can't find the exact shade you need? This yarn is interchangeable with Himalaya Dolphin Baby. They share the same weight and texture, allowing you to mix brands seamlessly in one project.
Why is Dolce a top choice for crafters?
Luxurious Texture: The yarn has a subtle matte sheen and a dense pile, making your finished items look like they are made from high-end velvet fabric.
Speedy Crafting: Thanks to its thickness, you can crochet a large plushie or knit a substantial throw blanket in a fraction of the time compared to thinner yarns.
Structural Integrity: It is spun to be durable and maintain its fluffiness, ensuring your handmade home decor items stand up to daily use and hugging.

Excellent yarn for toys. Although, it breaks easily when you tighten the magic ring, and frays especially at the ends (but any such fluffy yarn is like that, so). You can burn the edge with a flame and use fake magic ring and everything will be fine.
It sheds a ton on the extremities and if you are a bit rougher with it it leaves gaps on the floof (specially if you unravel your work). Not my favourite to work with but it got the job done, it's soft and has a nice colour.
